explain rasin pudding model given by JJ Thomson. give its drawbacks​

Answer:

according to this model the atom is of spherical shape where the inner part is filled with positive charge and the negative charge is present randomly or is embedded like rasins in a pudding.

DRAWBACKS:

1. this model failed to explain how positive charge holds on the negative charge in the atom.

2.Was unable to explain the scattering experiment of Rutherford.

3.This theory didn't mention anything about nucleus of atom.
