Rational number - A number that can be expressed in p/q form where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0 are known rational numbers.  

For Example -  73/13, -13/5 etc.

In simple terms, it means a number expressed in fraction form, which can be either positive or negative , and the denominator is not 0
