Explanation about ray diagram:
- The First Rule of Reflection notes that the angle produced with the usual at the point of incidence by the incident light ray is equivalent to the angle developed with the standard reflected light ray.
- The light ray entering the mirror in the example is defined as the ray of the event (marked I in the diagram). It is called as the mirrored ray (Mentioned R in the diagram) which exits the mirror.
- The ray hits the mirror at some point of incidence, a line should be drawn perpendicular to the mirror surface. This row is classified in the diagram as a normal line (marked N).
- The standard line splits the angle into two different angles between incident ray and light of the mirror. The angle between normal incident and ray is referred to as the angle of incidence. This angle is explained as angle of reflection between the reflecting ray and the regular.
