(i) Tungsten a very useful metal is used as a filament in traditional bulbs because of its high melting point. Moreover its a very good conductor of electricity.
(ii) Series arrangements are not used for domestic purposes because if one of the resistor does not function, the whole circuit becomes useless. Moreover if we need to use just one appliance then we are not able to do so if its in series.
(iii) Copper and aluminium are very good conductors of electricity with a very high melting point. So they are normally employed for electricity transmission.
