I believe this is due to the youth finally opening their eyes to the social evils being done in India. This is the era of change where people need to open their minds and think what is best for a society as a whole. There have been recent cases regarding rapes where the female is the one who gets the blame. But now many feminists have been raising their voices, wanting to be heard across India to make sure that their opinions and demands are granted.
And in my opinion this is necessary. Everyone needs to realize the importance of women in the society. It is not a patriarchy anymore in many households in India rather women are being valued. But this is still not true for more than 70 % of households in India. Women are being discriminated in politics, jobs, schools etc. People are realizing the need for equal human rights for women and men. We need a society free of social evils where everyone lives peacefully.
