MATERIAL REQUIRED- Candle, match box,rubber tube

PROCEDURE- *Put a lighted candle on the top of a table.Take a rubber tube and look through it at the flame of the candle

*Now bend the rubber tube in the middle and look through it at the candle flame again

OBSERVATION-when the rubber tube is straight,we can see the candle flame through it ,but when the rubber tube Is bent we cannot see the candle flame through it.This is because when the rubber tube is bent,the light of the candle is unable to reach us.

CONCLUSION-This shows the rectilinear propagation of light
