explain refraction of light briefly

vipul997: When a ray of light travels from different mediums its velocity changes and due to the change of velocity the path of ray also changes, this is called refraction of light. When the ray of light travels from rarer medium to the dencer it bends itself towards the normal and when the ray of light travels from dencer medium toh the rarer medium it becomes away from the normal.

\textbf{Causes}:

1. Change in medium

2. Different Optical density of different mediums.

snell's law also known as snell-descarates and the law of refraction is a formula used to describe the relationship between the angles of incidence and refraction ,when referring to light or other waves passing through boundary between two different isotropic media such as water glass or air
