Relative references. By default, all cell references are relative references. When copied across multiple cells, they change based on the relative position of rows and columns. For example, if you copy the formula =A1+B1 from row 1 to row 2, the formula will become =A2+B2.

Your answer :

There are 3 cell references ;

  1. Relative cell references
  2. Absolute cell references
  3. Mixed cell references

Example of relative cell references;

a1 + b1 + c1 or = A1 + A2 + A3

Example of absolute cell references :

A1 + $A + $2 + A3 or – Al + Bl + $c

Example of mixed cell references:

→ A1 + A$2 + A3 or = Al + Bl

Hope it's helpful
