What is relative Velocity :
the velocity of a moving body with the respect to velocity of other body is called as relative velocity.
for example :
1) if C1 is a moving body with a velocity of 50 kmph and C2 is another body with velocity of 60 kmph , then to C1 the velocity of C2 seems to be 10kmph.
2) if two bodies T1 and T2 are travelling in opposite direction with a velocity of V1 and V2 , then to both, the velocity of other seems to be V1+V2 .
hope you got the answer
