Fungi reproduct through the process of spore formations. In bread mold, an example of a Fungi, there are tube-like structures called the hyphae in which the above part is in the shape of a blob which contains the spores.

The spores are released into the air at the time of reproduction. Spores has a lot of advantages:

  1. They can survive in extreme conditions, like cold and heat
  2. They will travel around the air until they find a suitable place to reproduct
  3. They have thick outer coverings to protect them from external disasters

Therefore the spores are the reproductive part of a Fungi
