➡️ A reversible reaction is a reaction where the reactants form products, which react together to give the reactants back. A and B can react to form C and D or, in the reverse reaction, C and D can react to form A and B. This is distinct from reversible process in thermodynamics.

REVERSIBLE

Changes which can be reversed are called reversible changes or physical change.

Example: By heating water, it becames vapour and it can became water again after cooling.

IRREVERSIBLE

changes In which the chemical compositions of a substance changes are the irreversible changes.

Example: when an egg is heated, the Yolk and albumin solidifies, it can't be reversed.
