Rh system is based by Rh - antigen which was first time discovered in Rhesus monkey.
- who has Rh - antigen are called +ve
- who do not have Rh antigen called -ve.
special case related to this is erythroblastosis foetalis where Rh-ve blood of child mixes with Rh - +ve blood of foetus.Though the first foetus will be normal.But subsequent pregnancies could be fatal and causes death,jaundice, anemaia to baby.
