  • All the citizens in India have the freedom to profess, practice and propagate any religion and not to follow any.
  • the constitution allows the citizens to follow their religion without discriminating the other religions as the govt prohibits discrimination on the grounds of religion.
  • it allows the right to believe what a person , a group or a religion wishes but it does not necessarily allow the right to practice the religion or belief openly in an outwardly manner.

Hey mate,

☺️Right to freedom is soul of democracy.

☺️India is a secular state which does not make discrimination between the citizens on the ground of religion and imparts equal treatment to citizens of every religion or sect.

☺️There is no official religion of the state and it does not govern the state as per tenets of any religion.

☺️Citizens have been given right to profess, practise and propagate any religion of their state.

☺️Religious denominations have been given right to set up education institutions and charitable trust and acquire property.

Hope it helps you..
