1. Monera:It consists of simplest and one of the most primitive organisms that appeared on earth. All of the organisms are unicellular and prokaryotic.
2.Protista: Members are mostly unicellular and eukaryotic. They are usually found in aquatic habitats.
3. Fungi: They are heterotrophic and eukaryotic organisms. There cell wall is made of chitin.
4. Plants: These are further divided into well differentiated body and not. The nest level of classification is based on whether the differentiated plant body has special tissues for the transport of water and other substances within it. They are further divided on the ability to bear seeds and whether the seeds are enclosed within it or not.
5. Animals: These are eukaryotic and multicellular organisms. There cells are diploid and lack cell wall.
