THE head of the Navy's Supply Corps, Rear Adm. Edward K. Walker, has a supply problem of his own: finding anywhere from 350 to 375 men and women a year to become new officers in the service's purchasing arm.
His solution is to send two dozen of his existing officers to recruit at colleges throughout the country.
