saprophytic nutrition is that nutrition in which an organism obtain s its food from decaying organic matter of dead plants,dead animals etc.sapro means rotten so a saprotropic draws its food from rotting wood of dead and decaying trees rotten leaves etc .the organism having saprotrophic mode of nutrition are called saprophytes.g fungi,like bread mouls ,mushrooms ,yeast etc sapro trophic nutrition is also known as saprophytic nutrition.
