Decantation- Decantation is a process for the separation of mixtures of immiscible liquids or of a liquid and a solid mixture such as a suspension. a common example is decantation of oil and vinegar.
Filteration- The process in which solid particles in a liquid or gaseous fluid are removed by the use of a filter . for example- we filter the hot tea using a mesh filter.
