➡Evaporation is used to separate a solid substance that has dissolved in a liquid. The use of process of evaporation for separating a mixture is based on the fact that liquids vapourize easily whereas solid do not vapourize easily

➡Example :- Mixture of salt and water, coloured component of ink(different dyes) from ink can be separated by evaporation.
