sex organ in bryophytes are multicellular. Male sex organ is Antheridium and female is Archegonium. Antheridium produce biflagellate antherozoids. In bryophytes Marchantia is Dioecious and sphagnum is monoecious. They depend on water for sexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction in liverworts by fragmentation.
