Bonjuor!!<br />
✳ Sexual reproduction in angiosperms takes place with the help of flowers. The flowers enclose the reproductive parts of a plant. Therefore, flowers are the reproductive organ of plants.
✳ As a result of pollination, pollen grain is deposited on the stigma of carpel, it grows into a pollen tube. The pollen grain pierces the stigma and grows through style. It enters ovary and then ovisac through an opening through an opening called microphyle. Pollen tube contains two male gametes. It releases the two male gametes into the embryo sac. One of the male fuses with egg to form zygote, this fusion is known as "SYNGAMY". The other male fuses with two polar nuclei to form endosperm, this fusion is known as " TRIPLE FUSION".
And these two processes form double fertilization.
