Short Range Order: Short range order refers to the regular and predictable arrangement of atoms over a short distance, usually with one or two atom spacings. However, this regularity does not persist over a long distance.

Long Range Order: Crystal exhibit a property called long range order or translational periodicity. Positions repeat in space for an regular array. In an amorphous solid, translational periodicity is absent.

Guys if this helped u so please appreciate me!!
