Simple Present Tense

Action of verb happens in the present, but not at a point of time, the tense is called simple present.

subject + am/is/are

e.g. I am a student.

subject + has/have

e.g. We have a large classroom.

action verb/1st form of verb

(subject + action verb + s or es)

e.g. The girls play in the field.

My father reads a poem.
