Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was able to achieve success in the political arena of subcontinent Asian in many instances and occasions as outlined below;

  1. Sir Khan embraced education in his political sphere and therefore he was an educator.
  2. In his political reign he was able to unite, supported and concurred with the ideas and thoughts of other Indian political leaders in advocating for the representation of  other Indians in the Government and the civil service.
  3. Khan also helped eradicate illiteracy in India by forming the All India Muhammadan Educational Conference thus spreading western education among the Indians.
  4. Khan being a strong Muslim, he led the reformist process of Islam through the All Muslim League.  By becoming a social reformer he enabled all the Hindi communities to coexist peacefully and harmoniously

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was a prominent politician and a good observer. Muslims at that time hated English Education. They were deprived of education which was the basic need. Hindus had already joined the English school. In order to compete with the Hindus, they were needed to given the English Education. Trying to understand the emergency to paved the educational organisation, he built Aligarh Muslim University in 1875.
