  • Foreign goods were boycotted and burnt.
  • The import of foreign goods declined significantly between 1921-22.
  • The value of foreign clothes dropped from 102 crore to 57 crore rupees.
  • It boomed the traditional and indigenous industries especially Indian textile industries.
