Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants and artificial photosynthesis.

We know that our planet earth was created from the explosion in the sun,which is briefly described in the famous "Big Bang Theory."

That's why our planet's main energy source is sun, because no other energy producing substances exist in our solar system.

The energy which is generated from the sun and reaches our earth's environment is known as the solar energy.

This solar energy is either in the light rays form or in the heat energy form.

And the rest of the energy sources available in our planet,is directly or indirectly generated from this solar energy.
