Solar System :- The collection of 8 Planets in the universe is called Solar System.
There are 8 planets in our solar system :-
⏺Mercury (Budh)
⏺Venus (Shukra)
⏺Erath (Prithvi)
⏺Mars (Mangal)
⏺Jupiter (Brihaspati)
⏺Saturn (Shani)
⏺Uranus
⏺Neptune
Mercury :- The planet Mercury is nearest to the sun. It is the smallest planet of our solar system. Because mercury is very close to the sun.
Venus :- Venus is the earth's nearest planetary neighbour. It is the brightest planet in the night sky. Venus is also called morning and even star. Venus has no moon a satellite of its own. It rotates from east to west while the Earth rotates from west to east.
The Earth :- The earth is the only planet in our solar system on which life is known to exist. Earth rotates from west to East. the earth has only one moon.
Mars :- Mars is the 4th planet of the solar system. it looks slightly reddish therefore it is also called red planet. It has two small natural satellites.
Jupiter :- Jupiter is the largest planet of the solar system. It has so large that about 1300 hours can be placed inside this Giant planet. the mass of Jupiter is about 318 times that of our Earth. Jupiter has 67 number of satellites.
Saturn :- Saturn is appears yellowish in colour. which makes it unique in the solar system it has a beautiful ring which is made with dust particles. Saturn has a 62 number of satellites.
Uranus and Neptune:- these are the outermost Planet of the solar system. They both are also rotates from east to west.
Some other members of our solor system :-
Asteroids:- This gap is occupied by a large number of small object that revolve around the sun and between Mars and Jupiter this are called asteroids.
Meteors :- At night, when the sky is clear and the moon is not there we may sometimes seabright streaks of light in the sky these are commonly known as shooting star, although they are not stars. They are called meteors.
Meteorite :- some meteors I like and so they can reach the earth before the evaporate completely. The the body that reaches the earth is called meteorite.
