The challenges to free and fair elections are :-
some candidates may win purely and unfair means.Candidates and parties with a lot of money may not be sure of their victory but they do enjoy a big and unfair advantages over smaller parties and independents.In some part of the countryn, candidates with criminal connections have been able to push others out of the electoral race and to secure a 'ticket ' from major engines.Some families tend to dominate politicial parties, tickets are distributed to relative from these families.Smaller parties and independent candidates suffer a huge disadvantage compared t bigger parties.

Challenges faced by election system in India
Explanation:
A large part of election commission gets affected by unfair election.
- This mostly is biased on the basis of economic and social power.
- Parties with good links with criminals and other rich group of people tend to secure their tickets in election.
- Small parties and parties with low power suffer the most.
- People are many a times to give votes to specific parties.
More strict security, corruption free system and most importantly, each invidual's understanding on the importance of election can reduce the challenges in election.
