Explain some facts about acceleration.​

Answer:

The acceleration of an object depends on two factors, velocity and direction. An object that moves with constant speed but that changes direction is also accelerating. A car traveling around a curve in the road is accelerating even though its speed remains constant.

ok so lets begin with basics

there are 2 types of acceleration :

1. uniform

2.non uniform

uniform acceleration can be found out by using standard formulas like

v=u + at

s=ut + 1/2 at^2

v^2 - u^2=2as

non uniform acceleration can be found out by differentiating velocity

wrt to time ie dv/dt

also slope of velocity time graph gives acceleration.
