EXPLAIN something about Himalayan ranges

The Himalayan range exchange from Jammu and Kashmir in the north to Arunachal Pradesh in the east and covers a distance of 2500 km. It's width ranges from 200 kilometre to 400 kilometre.
The Himalayan range has three parallel ranges-
- the greater Himalayas or himadri
- the lesser Himalayas or Himachal
- the lower Himalayas or Shivalik
Greater Himalayas:-
- The himadri himadri is dinner and most range of the Himalayas.
- It is also the highest mountain range in the world. The pics and himadri are Mount Everest, kanchanjanga and nangaparbat.
- The mountain range is always covered with snow.
- The Gangotri glacier which originates in this range is the source of river Ganga.
Lesser Himalayas:-
- The Himachal range is to the south of the himadri.
- It receives heavy snowfall during the winter season.
- The slopes of the Himachal are covered with thick forests of deodar and pine.
- Shimla, Mussoorie, Kullu, Manali, Nainital and Ranikhet are some of the hill stations located in this range.
Lower Himalayas:-
- The Shivalik is the southernmost range of the Himalayas.
- The slopes of this range are covered with thick forest.
- It is a home to many wild animals.
- This range receives heavy rainfall.
- Landslides are common in this range.
- Below the foothills of Shivalik range lies the terai region.
The Purvanchal range is located in the North eastern part of India. It includes many hills such as garo, khasi, jaintia, Naga, Mizo,Latkai and Lushai.
