Explain source initiated transfer using handshaking

The asynchronous transfer can be implemented with A method called handsaking. There are 2 Types of Handshaking, depending on wheather the data soure (sender) or destination (reciever) initiates the transfer. For the printer example, The source/ sender is the 1/0 controller and The destination/ reciever is The Printer.
