Conductance of:

(i) Unit volume of solution (with any amount of electrolyte) = Specific

(ii) (Any volume of) solution with unit gram equivalent of electrolyte = Equivalent

(iii) (Any volume of) solution with one mole of electrolyte = Molar

Understanding using cases:

I. Suppose, we have 1 cm3 of a solution (with any amount of electrolyte). The conductance of this solution is called specific conductance.

When we have 1 gram equivalent of electrolyte added to this solution (1 cm3), the conductance of the solution is called equivalent conductance.

II. Now, suppose that we have 4cm3 of solution (with any amount of electrolyte). We can consider this as a cube made of 4 cubes of 1 cm3 of solution, each. The conductance of each 1cm3 block is called specific conductance.

The total conductance of the 4cm3 solution is equivalent conductivity which is 4 times the specific conductance.

Thus, equivalent conductivity = specific conductivity X volume

Molar volume. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The molar volume, symbol Vm, is the volume occupied by one mole of a substance (chemical element or chemical compound) at a given temperature and pressure. It is equal to the molar mass (M) divided by the mass density (ρ).
