For a point source at the center of curvature all of the rays would be reflected back to that. However, for parallel rays, different points on the mirror will not focus all of the (off-axial) rays at the same point (the focal point of the mirror which is 1/2 the radius of curvature).
For instance, spherical mirrors are OK in telescopes for mirror diameters up to about 4 inches. For larger mirrors the mirror must have a parabolic shape which will eliminate the spherical aberration.
