Aberration= it may be defined as the deviation of actual image from of an ideal image
these are two type .
•monochromatic
•chromatic
spherical aberration . it is a.monochromatic
aberration this type of defect in the image due to which the paraxial and marginal rays from same point object on the axis do not converge at the same point is called spherical abberivation.
