Answer:

Stephen aldehyde synthesis, a named reaction in chemistry, was invented by Henry Stephen. This reaction involves the preparation of aldehydes from nitriles using tin(II) chloride, hydrochloric acid and quenching the resulting iminium salt with water. During the synthesis, ammonium chloride is also produced.

The Rosenmund reduction is a hydrogenation process in which an acyl chloride is always reduced to an aldehyde. The reaction was named after Karl Wilhelm Rosenmund, who first reported it in 1918.

Nitriles with stannous chloride in the presence of hydrochloric acid reduced to the corresponding amine and give the corresponding aldehyde after hydrolysis.

The rosenmunds reaction is a reaction where acid chloride is converted to aldehyde in presence of H2, Pd/BaSO4

I'm attaching the reactions :)

hope this helps u❤️
