Answer:

Cell Organelles

Scattered in the cytoplasm are small structures called Organelles.

Mitochondria

Mitochondria are small rod like structures. They oxidize food to provide energy. So they are called power house of cell.

Vacuoles

Vacuoles are sac like structures. They store food , water and wastes. Plant cells have large vacuoles as compared to animal cells.

Plastids

Plant cells have Organelles called plastids present in cytoplasm. They are of different colours and types . Green coloured plastids are called chloroplast.

Lysosome

It helps destroy old cell structures. So this is called suicidal bag of cell.

Golgi bodies

It helps in secretion substances such as enzymes.

A small organ-like structure present inside the cell is called a cell organelle. It has a particular structural makeup and performs a specific function. ... Single membrane-bound: Some organelles are bounded by a single membrane. For example, vacuole, lysosome, Golgi Apparatus, Endoplasmic Reticulum etc.
