hello user!

Cell is the basic unit of life.

Though cell is microscopic it has so much inside it.

A typical cell has a cell wall, plasma membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, mitochondria, golgi body, endoplasmic reticulum, plastid, lysosomes, vacuole.

Cell wall - it is outer most layer found in plants and some fungi which is made of proteins like cellulose, chytin, pectin etc.this protects cell and gives turgidity to cell.

Plasma membrane - this is also an outer layer in case of animal cell.it gives the cell its shape and separates cytoplasm from external environment.

Cytoplasm - it is fluid portion in the cell

Nucleus - it is the brain of cell as it controls cell activities also it contains DNA which pass from one generation to next generation.

Mitochondria- it is the power house of the cell as it helps in cellular respiration to give cell its energy.

Golgi body - it is meant for packaging, modification of material.

Endoplasmic reticulum - it helps in intra cellular transportation.it forms a network inside the cell.

Plastid - these are seen in photosynthetic parts of plants which help in photosynthesis also helps in storage and pigmentation of plant and its parts

Lysosomes - these digests the unwanted material.also they digests the cell during starvation and so called suicidal bag of cell.

vacuole - it is empty space in cytoplasm which stores food.
