in prophase, the genetic material fragments to form chromosome, nuclear membrane degenerates and nucleolus disappears. in telophase chromosomes uncool to form genetic material, nuclear membrane and nucleolus reappears.

Viroids r infectious RNA strands, they r smaller in size.

Viruses r larger in size and the genetic material is enclosed in a capsule or head.
