Shadow is formed only by opaque materials it is not a matter because it can't occupy any space nor it won't have any mass..

shadow is a not a matter this is because. shadow is a Opaque material definition of matter is something that occupies space and mass is is called matter and Shadow does not occupy any space and Mass . I think so it will help u
