The three satyagraha movements organized by Gandhiji are
1) THE ROWLATT SATYAGRAHA :
The Rowlatt Satyagraha started in 1919 against the Rowlatt Act that the British rule had just passed. The act curbed fundamental rights such as the freedom of expression and strengthen police powers. Mahatma Gandhi, Mohammad Ali Jinnah and others criticized the act as devilish and tyrannical. On 6 April 1919 Gandhiji asked the Indian people to observe this day as a day of non-violent opposition to this act.
2) CHAMPARAN SATYAGRAHA :
Champaran Satyagraha of 1917 was the first Satyagraha movement inspired by Gandhiji and a major revolt in the indian independence movement.
3) KHEDA SATYAGRAHA :
Kheda Satyagraha of 1918 was started in Kheda district of Gujarat. It was the third Satyagraha of Gandhiji after the Champaran Satyagraha and Rowlatt Satyagraha.
