The Three types of rocks are : -
Igneous rocks => They are formed underground the earth when the magma becomes trapped in small pockets these pocket of magma cools slowly and forms igneous rock.
sedimentary rocks => such rocks are formed by deposition of sediments brought by winds and rivers.
metamorphic rocks => when igneous and sedimentary rocks come under heat and pressure they change into new forms called metamorphic rocks.
