The 4Rs are Reduce, Recycle,Reuse and Recover.
1) Reduce- It is necessary to reduce the exploitation of natural resources. Simple steps like keeping the tap closed when not in use, switching off lights when no one is in the rooms can be endeavours to reduce the wastage of resources.
2) Recycle- We can easily recycle the waste materials of the products made from natural resources. For example, some Newspapers these days are made of recycled paper.
3) Reuse- A product prepared using our natural resources can be used over and over again. For example, the envelopes can be opened and glued from the other side to get a new envelope.
4) Recover- It can be possible to recover materials or energy from waste which cannot be reduced, reused or recycled for further use.
