Achievements of Ranjit Singh:

•Ranjit Singh was the chief of one of the misls.

•By the end of the 18th century, he brought all the Sikh chiefs to the west of the Satluj.

•He proclaimed himself as the master of Punjab.

•He signed a treaty of 'perpetual friendship' with Lord Minto in 1809.

•He also signed 'Treaty of Amritsar' with the British.
