Answer:
Two miscible liquids can be separated using distillation and fractional distillation method. Distillation is a chemical process where a mixture made of two or more liquids (called "components") with different boiling points can be separated from each other. ... It uses distillation to fractionate.
Answer:-
. Aim:-
. To study about the activity of two miscible liquid's.
. Materials required:-
. Burner, water condenser, distillation flask, Thermometer, Acetone, water, stand.
. water - 373k and 100°c
. acetone- 329k and 57°c
. Procedure:-
. Take acetone from the beaker and pour in the distillation flask, similarly take water from another beaker and pour in the distillation flask and fix a ️thermometer on the top of the distillation flask,
and also fix the water condenser.
. Observation:-
. Now, slowly observe that the water and acetone get mixed with each other. here the acetone gets converted into acetone vapours similarly the water gets converted into water vapours. now u can see the vapours of acetone starts evaporation and then passes to the water condenser and then gets cooled and then passes to the beaker which the results is pure acetone.
now similarly vapours of water start getting evaporated and then passes to the water condenser and then start getting cooled and then passes to the beaker as results pure water by this process we can separate two miscible liquids.
