The administrative features of British regime in India are;

Civil Services:

The Civil Service was instituted into existence by Lord Cornwallis. However, the assistants who were paid lowering salaries but who were authorized to trade personally. Later, when the Company became a provincial power, the same servants considered administrative functions.

Army:

The second significant dependence of the British regime in India was the army. It accomplished four essential functions. It was the device through which the Indian powers were defeated; it supported the British imperialism in India from international opponents; it safeguarded British sovereignty from the ever-present threat of domestic revolt.

Police:
