• He transferred his capital to Deogiri which was renamed later as Daulatabad and ordered all the people from Delhi to get transferred to the new capital
• Due to a mismanaging army and unplanned decision, Tughlaq’s military expedition to Khurasan and Qarachilat turned out to be a disaster.
• The token currency introduced by Tughlaq was in practice till 1332 AD.
