✓ it provides service door to door

✓ the required amount for construction of road is lower then other modes of transport

✓ it links the other modes of transport

✓ it connects the villages towns And cities

✓ it can be built in mountainous areas

✓ small product are also transport in it

LIMITATIONS

✓ about half of the roads are unmetalled due to this it becomes difficult to use in rainly season

✓ many bridges and connecting roads are old and narrow at many places

✓ roads are insufficient in some places
