Answer:

2)30(2+✓13)m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2 (pythagoras theorem)

AC^2 = (8)^2 + (15)^2

AC^2 = 64+225 = 289

AC = ✓289 = 17m

Area of ∆ABC = 1/2 × l × b

= 1/2 × 8 × 15

= 60m^2

Using heron's formula to find area of ∆ADC

s(semi perimeter) = (AD+DC+AC)/2

= (15+28+17)/2 = 60/2 =30

Area of ∆ADC = ✓{s(s-AD)(s-DC)(s-AC)}

= ✓{30(30-15)(30-28)(30-17)}

= ✓{30×15×2×13}

= 30✓13m^2

Area of ADCB = Area of ∆ABC + Area of ∆ADC

= 60 + 30✓13

= 30(2+✓13)m^2

feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:)
