All the dimensions of the house, doors and windows are given.

For calculating the surface area for painting, we take out the total surface area of cuboid (2(lb+bh+hl)) - (total area of doors and windows (length*breadth))

This gives us 392 metre square, now we divide it by 18 to find out the litres of paint required. i.e 21.8 litres(approx)

Now cost of painting is ₹225 per litre, hence, 21.8*225=₹4,900.
