Sorry due to grammatical errors, I can't interpret the reason but, the  Assertion if wrong for sure.

All energy that producers take from the sun is not utilized by the consumers. According to the 10% law of Blackman, the plants take 1% energy from the sun and only 10% is transfered to the primary consumer. The rest energy is either stored in the storage organs or utilized by the plant itself to carry out various life processes like respiration, transportation etc.
