- Autosum is a very helpful option available on Microsoft Excel.
- It helps to perform calculations very easily and in no time.
It can be accessed from two places on the ribbon :-
- In the formulas tab and function library group.
- In the home tab and editing group.
It can be also expressed by clicking Alt+= on the keyboard.
It helps to perform calculation such as sum, average, minimum, maximum, etc.
The range of cells in which you need to apply autosum can be selected by us.
If we do not select it, the Excel selects the range of cells around the selected cell, which can be changed in the formula bar.
We can also write the formula in the cell or the formula bar instead of using the autosum option.
For writing do not forget to write = sign firstly.
